Hello everyone.

I will soon be changing a few old parts in my rig. That includes motherboard, ram, and cpu. I will be installing a I5 8600k which i will be water cooling with a corsair hydro series H60.

In my current build i have one intake fan in the front of the case and a outtake in the back to create a nice airflow in my pc. But now that i will be installing a water cooled cpu i have a fan + radiater i need to place in my case.

The only avaliable positions are at top of the case where i was thinking it could be placed as an intake. If i keep my outtake in the back i was thinking it might be able to redirect the air that come through the radiater before it hits the GPU.

I just want some thoughts on my thoughts before i go through with it.

Can't wait to hear your responses :)

Wherever and any way you mount it, count it as part of whole case ventilation and try to balance in and out flow.
What I would do in that situation is to ad another fan to radiator in push-pull config, use it for exhaust (because small, single radiators tend to make air hot), place it at top if you must and use front and back fans as intake. There are other parts to consider, GPU, chipset and VRM that also need fresh air.
