I am looking for a gaming PC around 600$. I am not very experience on this topic so i am going to buy a pre-built one. It needs to have 16gb of ram a decent hard drive, and 1TB of space. If it could run smoothly on epic settings on fortnite that would be awesome (not sure if that possible for 600$). Willing to pay up to 650$ at a max.

Ok, i am willing to build it myself i guess. I will have to research more about this topic first. What other parts should i get if i am going to build it myself.

Well I think that first of all, you'll have to face the reality that u won't be able to run Fortnite smoothly on epic settings. By smoothly meaning at least 100fps as sometimes frame drops during large fights.

You might however be able to run at 100fps with Shadows and Effects off as it's better to play like that anyways (shadows makes it very dark inside houses and effects just puts to many explosion effects that will often block your vision)

I put only 8Gb of RAM at the moment as that's what your budget can support.

You can always add another 2x4Gb in the future.

With christmas coming up, you might be able to squeeze it in depending on which deals you can find.

This better... You dont need OS, you can either run with out the key, which will have limited features (google) and or buy a key online for the cheap for 29$.

How do i enter the key

You need an 8Gb USB stick. Plug it to any computer. Right click the USB, format it to Fat32.

Hop on to Microsoft's website here:
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

Download Windows Media Tool. There will be an option to install it on the USB drive. Do that.

Plug into new computer, select boot drive (being the USB stick with Windows Media Tool installed).

Install Windows. During installation you will be prompt to enter a serial key or to Skip. If you don't want to buy Windows directly. You can click skip and do it later, after Windows is already installed.
