So I'm really new to pc but I know my fair share of stuff when working with computers

I am currently waiting for black Friday to buy my system but saw a 2070ti for £230 so i grabbed it now as, well, it's cheap.

I do have a old system from god knows when and it is a mess. It used to be my dad's but he had not taken care of it properly and got a new one at q1 of this year.

I cannot tell you the specs but it has
4gb ddr3 ram
An old gig mobo (I know that isn't the biggest help)
600w no name psi
I3 530
And a amd radion 5800

No the problem, the pc works fine as it is but my 1070 came yesterday so I decided to put it in, now I don't know if it is the mobo or psu or if it is broken or not compatible (I hope it isn't compatible). So I put it in plugged it in properly and powered it up.

The pc turned on and the you started to spin and I got a output to my monitor showing the boot screen (this is where my stupidity come in. The screen where you can then go into the bios and that stuff). So I waited for a second and then it began to load windows. When it did the card stopped spining and then I got a black screen and then no vid output.
I've tried both pci slots and I don't know what to do. I'm going to check the thread every 30min. Please If you know somthing help.

Get a proper psu and that should be good unless that board also doesn't have an uefi bios then you are straight out of luck.

Please list manufacturer/model name of your graphics card?

Some of those are not available and none costs less than 400 Eur.
