Upgrade graphic card for PUBG

Hi greetings,

Can I ask your advise if upgrading a graphic card will increase fps in playing PUBG and most importantly if it will be compatible with my motherboard?

Planning to upgrade to graphic card Radeon R9 390. Below is my old setup. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

Asus M5a78L-M plus
AMD fx-6100 6 core 3.3 GHz 3.9 GHz turbo
Radeon R7 260x 2GB
8GB RAM

Currently getting 30-45fps in very low settings in PUBG.

What's your psu (model, name,...)
Also you won't get much better fps since your fx 6100 is also going to majorly hold you back.

Hi eddmar,

I agree with Jaslion, even upgrading the GPU, the CPU will not be able to use 100% of the GPU so money not well spent... for now

When you will be changing the whole PC, you'll be able to change your plateform, you'll reuse the GPU

Ok, so will also upgrade psu. But as you said cpu is also major problem. I think i need a new rig then?
