If you don't have a product key you could use, then you might need to buy Windows 10. Windows 7 & 8 product will still work to activate Windows 10.

Each motherboard manufacturer's website has a list (QVL) of RAM modules that had been tested to work with their products at rated RAM speed.
If you select a RAM model not listed, then your RAM might default to lower speed and you might need to configured manually.

Thanks for getting back to me,

im on a really low budget
i have a 1080 viewsonic standard cheap 120 £ monitor.
psu is 500 wat mwe 230v

i would be happy with 50 fps on even low settings.
just aslong as it runs reasonably smoothly. i mean what ever i can get for 100. 2x4- 3000mhz ram aswell?
ide ideally like a ryzen with the asus prime b350 and 2x4 3000mhz ram with the cheapest temporay gpu that would add benefits? would be very grateful for any help with my limited knowlegde

is this a good base ?
or would it be cheaper to just buy a pc for 500 £ or so?

this is what i have at the moment:

AMD 2200G 3.7GHz / Vega Graphics / 8GB 2400MHz / 1TB / Windows 10

Oh! I thought you already had the Ryzen 5 2600X form your first post.

I would recommend the Ryzen 5 2400g, since the AMD 2200G might be too weak.
8GB RAM minimum and a 400 series AM4 motherboard like the ASRock B450M-HDV, or MSI B450M PRO-VDH or GA-B450M DS3H.
