May seem like a stupid question. I added a second fan to my cpu cooler. Should it be acting like an exhaust, or should they both be blowing air into the heatsink from opposite directions? I only ask because having an rgb fan the wrong way around is a little underwhelming

Solution
i am assuming you have a fan on each side of the heatsink.

so you want one of them pushing air and the other one pulling it. so that air is flowing in one direction through the heatsink. ideally, the direction should be toward the back of the case so the exhaust fan can help pull that hot air out of the case.
