My cpu is 100% usage every game

I’ve tried a fresh install, short of that I have no idea what to do, there’s nothing being used here, I googled my cpu and the games I run and they run it no problems at 65% usage. Please help!

Turn off any AV software inc Windows Defender. Run MalwareBytes to ensure theres nothing questionable sitting in the background using resources.

how much ram? 1, 2 , 3, sticks? (it does matter a little). 8GB? like I have seen people with 4GB of ram with their CPU / HDD running at like 100% most of the time as it has to do more work to deal with lack of ram.

Also what are your temps when you game? hwmonitor if you don't have a program is a good one.

Don't make it hard for people to help you. List your complete specs including make and models. List the games you're playing and the resolution. We need details and can't read your mind.

Turn on the task manager monitor.
Look at the performance monitor and see what is using the cpu.

just to be clear with the new system you did a fresh install with usb media tool and not a system reset. was this a new storage drive when you built system?

Multiplayer games can use many threads.
Are the other games also multiplayer?
Do they use the same engine?

It is hard to manage multiple tasks in a program.
The master thread may be scanning the other threads for activity causing high cpu usage.

Are the games playing good? like smooth paying and such? cause if you really dont have an issue I would not complain too much about it if things are running smooth. IF not get a better CPU.. an i7 or better.
