PC Second opinion needed

Your build is reasonable.
The i5-8400 comes with a perfectly good stock cooler.

I might up the ssd to 500gb and defer on the hard drive until you actually need the space.
I like Samsung evo better.

It is not clear where the Silverstone psu stands on this quality list.

I might opt for Seasonic which is always good. Even 550w will be fine.

Agree with above mate, you don't need the cooler if your not overclocking. Also, a couple of other points:

1. You have a Freesync monitor listed but are buying an Nvidia 1060, the Freesync will not function with Nvidia Cards, it is designed for AMD cards only mate so either get an AMD card or Look for a G-Sync monitor to funtion with the 1060.
2. Do you have a valid reason for the extra ethernet card mate ? Why dont you use the ethernet port on the Motherboard ?
3. Cases are users choice but if you need to save a few bucks you can downgrade the case to something simpler, but your call, its purely a budget thing....
4. Good CPU choice !!!
5. Everything else looks fine bud, i would shop around though, look at MSI and MWave to see if you can get a better deal on some or all of the components

Also, anything extra you can scrape out of your budget should go towards the GPU, see if you can save here and there (I.e. Case, Cooler and Network Card) and put it towards upping it to a 1070 or 1070ti. Although you may find G-Sync Monitors a little more expensive so that may eat your leftovers anyway !!!

On the other hand, if someone is fine with GTX 1060 6GB performance but wants adaptive sync without buying a much more expensive monitor, then an RX 580 8GB should offer the same level of performance on average, while supporting FreeSync. Just keep in mind that the RX 580 is more power-hungry, and in turn puts out more heat under load, which might also potentially result in a bit more noise depending on the cooler.

The card you have listed is for a wired ethernet connection, what you want if you want a separate card is this item;

https://www.pccasegear.com/products/19577?PPC=Y&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI08Dljc2b3gIVFSUrCh39sgOMEAQYASABEgJRYPD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds

However, if that's what your after then just get the same motherboard with WiFi already built in mate and you wont need the additional adapter, here it is here;

And you get Bluetooth thrown in aswell !!! :)

NOTE: This model is ITX form Factor so ensure your case fits ITX Boards.

This is a great case on sale now (reduced from $149 to $99) that would suit the change mate with tempered glass panel;
