SPECS:
CORE i5 7600K
Asus Prime B250M-K (Yes i know im retarded for having a non overclockable mobo with a K version processor, so for now i will have to do with just the 4.2Ghz turbo boost)
ASUS GeForce GTX 1060 Dual OC 6GB
2x8GB DDR4 2133MHz Corsair Vengeance LPX RAM
shitty 500W PSU
Windows 10
Sandisk plus SSD 480GB
Ive been toying around with my pc for a while, trying to figure out why my friend, with a core i5 4670 and the exact same GPU as me, can have better FPS than me in PUBG.

My cinebench scores are as follows: 105.35FPS in the OpenGL and 598 in CPU"
http://prntscr.com/l7c86r

I would like to point out that i hover around 100-110fps in PUBG with all settings on VERY LOW, besides effects and view distance being on ULTRA, with screen scale at 100.

I really hope there is someone who can help me out with this issue, because something has to be wrong, for him to get better FPS, while my entire rig is better, besides the fact we have the same GPU.

Thank you for any help!

His graphics card score appears to be very high for a 1060, in the top 3% of 1060 6GB cards benchmarked there, while yours is performing a bit below average. The two cards seem to have similar boost clocks, with his core clocks only being higher by about 1%, which wouldn't explain the ~10% performance difference in those benchmarks. Do they have similar coolers, and are the fan profiles set similar? And how is the airflow in the two cases? I'm just wondering if his is staying cooler, and able to maintain its boost clocks better, while yours might be throttling a bit under load. Have you checked the temperatures of both cards while gaming?

I'm not so sure that user benchmark site is very accurate. I've never researched it though. Just know the 1060 in my laptop scores very high in the top 3% like his. But also like his my ssd (and my hdd) score very low. And theres nothing I did special to make my 1060 score high. My cpu is also in the top 3% for no specific reason.

So to answer all of your questions, yes, his PUBG in-game settings are exactly the same.
His airflow is better, that i know for sure, but mine doesnt reach 70degrees celcius, so i wouldnt think it would be throttling, and the actual GPU have the exact same coolers. His card hovers around 55~60, while mine is at 65~70. My airflow is worse, so for that reason, ive bumped up my fan profile to around 66-70%, while his is at 56 on the dot.
Could there be any reason to why its not scoring as high as it should?
