First off, I'm new to Tom's and I've seen that the community is amazing! Hoping to get this solved as I really need this dual setup for my work.

Bought 2 used AOC I2367F monitors for a dual monitor setup. One works perfectly, the other's power button turns on but the display doesn't show anything at all. I try to turn the display off when connected and the power button light doesn't turn off (nothing displays anyways). Is there a wiring issue or anything like that?

Necessary info:
* Computer: Early 2013 MacBook Pro;
* macOS High Sierra v. 10.13.6 (17G65)
* 2880 x 1800 resolution
* NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M 1024 MB, 500 GB storage
* AOC External monitors: I2367F
* Cable: Amazon Basics HDMI - DVI cable (works with other monitor)
* Power supplies: both (for dual set-up) work on the monitor that works
* Tried detecting display on monitor, not working

Any help would be amazing. Really desperate to get this dual monitor system set up for work and this is the last thing I need happening :(

did you try to plugin only one monitor at the time to see if they work, check both outputs. and i found this on the web "MacBook Pro (Retina, Mid 2012), MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Late 2012), and Mac Mini (Late 2012) computers can use an HDMI-compatible device on it's HDMI port while using one Thunderbolt display, or they can use two Thunderbolt displays." ... but apple is a Dongle company so try a Thunderport dongle

Yes, I tried plugging them in one at a time and it didn't do anything. Might need to get the TB for daisy-chaining, but I think it's a wiring issue as the HDMI I used on the bad one worked for the good one. Display still won't turn on...

with a working output cable try the non working monitor on the working cable to see if it the monitor or the laptop. if it turns on and there no video use flashlight see if there any output you may have a bad backlight. if not try to find a repair guild and parts for the unit. see if it worth changing the power board.
