Is ASUS PRIME X470-PRO compatible with R5 1600x?

So like the title says is the ASUS PRIME X470-PRO motherboard compatible with 1600x? And what i mean by that will it be plug and play? or will i need the 2600x cpu to change the bios in order to use the 1600x?

Another side question is the 2600x worth 197pounds or should I buy the 1600/x?

Also any recomendations for 3000-3200mhz ddr4 ram?
And a cheapish 650-800w psu that wont burn my house down?

yes it will plug and play no problem. this is a nice ram 3000mhz from the MB QVL list so it's been tested for 2nd gen ryzen. yes i'd get the 2nd gen it's not much more in cost.
