I have installed Windows10 on an SSD drive using USB connection, windows loads fine from the SSD as an external drive usinh USB but when I replaced the HDD with this SSD I get noo bootable device knowing that the SSD is the first boot option in the bios.

the ssd needs to have a boot partition as well as the windows partition.
if it has a 400 mb boot partition you would just need remove the hdd, then boot from a repair image with command prompt. then run
bootrec.exe /fixboot
bootrec.exe /mbr
bootrec.exe /scanos
bootrec.exe /rebuildbcd

then your system should boot from the ssd.
note if you use a intel sata driver and you plug the HDD back in, it might re assign your drive letters and your windows might be assigned a different drive letter other than c:
