Acer nitro 5 ssd upgrade

Solution

Went to the Acer India site, keyed in the ID, no results found.

However, from the various sites (in India), it should be a m.2 SATA slot, so the WD GREEN m.2 SSD should work.
Take note that accessing the m.2 slot will void your warranty though, so do it carefully and at our own risk

My apologies, you should check with Acer.
The Nitro 5 comes with either m.2 NVMe or m.2 SATA, depending on the model/configuration.
It would be best if you check on the Acer website which model your's is, and what m.2 interface is used.

That's weird... It's either i5-7300HQ or i7-7700HQ, there is no i5-7700HQ
And I've never seen a 2GB variant of the 1050 on a Nitro 5. They always use the 4GB variant. You can find the 2GB 1050 on the Aspire 7

Thank you so much!
BTW I just talked to the store from where I bought and he said it wouldn't void the warranty if I get it done from him so yeah I'll have to wait a bit.
