Hey guys,

Currently I am building a new Rig for Gaming mainly.

It's gonna have:
Ryzen 5 2600
Dark Rock 4
X470 Gigabyte Aorus Ultra Gaming
G.SKILL Ripjaws DDR4-3200 16GB
500W Straight Power 10 80+ Gold

But now about the main problem.
I don't really know which gpu to get.

I'm trying to decide between those:

I mainly play at 1080p on a 24" 144hz Monitor. But I want high fps because most of the games I play are competitive esports games.

Which one would you recommend? Or would you pick a complete different Card? As you may can see the price difference is like 10€ here in Germany. But there are also a lot of cheaper 1070Ti Cards which would make the price difference bigger.

Thanks in advance

i would definitly go for Gigabyte GTX1080. The difference of 10€ its totally a worth here.
Anyways im not very convinced by your PSU even if you choose any of those 2 choises i would recommend upgrading the PSU aswel. But i also think that it can run just fine but pretty Overcharged.
The GTX 1080 is slightly-Moderatly faster and it really worths it for only 10€ difference

I just bought a 1080. Based on what I read over a few months, Gigabyte was the worst 1080 to purchase. Lots of issues with overheating and therefore not getting max out of card.

Maybe if you don't do any overclocking at all, it could be okay, but I decided the risk was not worth it.

At 1080p, fps is mostly on the cpu, not the gpu. The 1070ti is more than capable of 144fps, it'll be the Ryzen that will be the cap. If the game engine, optimizations and cpu are only capable of producing 100fps, you could pair that with sli 2080ti and still not get 101fps. Bumping resolution to 1440p, 4k, 4k DSR etc is all on the gpu.
