Past 10 years pretty much 1st thing i did after installing win was to turn off page file BUT now i bought SSD 500GB and turned page file to 8GB because i dont have problem to use up that 16GB ram im multitasking freak =)) ,, google chrome + firefox ~6 flash games open and overwatch +/-
Even use frequently rammap to clear standby memory because win7 doesnt rly work well with it

So question nr.1 is. Will that swap help me?
2. Is there some way to see how often was written into it or how much? Since its SSD dont wanna kill it with it

If you have 16GB of RAM it's probably not even necessary to allocate space for a page file. 1GB min and max should be plenty for any crash dumps, if you even care about that. If not, it's really not necessary at all HOWEVER Windows 10, unlike previous generations, does an admirable job of managing the page file by comparison so if you want to enable it there is really not a lot of issue so long as you keep it relatively small. I would not configure a page file larger than 4GB for any modern system.

Also, unless you have a secondary SSD, I probably wouldn't use the SSD for the page file either. If you have a secondary HDD, use that, so that you are not constantly using unnecessary write cycles for the page file. Either way, it's probably fine though.
