Do all LED case fans have a flicker? AND what is the best fan setup?

I just put my first custom build together and the case (Cooler Master - Stryker SE ATX Full Tower) came with 4 fans in it. Two 120mm LED fans in the front, a 200mm in the top and a 140mm in the rear. The case has a toggling switch to make the fans be either flashy or "solid" but the solid still seems to have a flicker. I've never had RGB/LED fans before and I'm wondering if this flicker is just standard from the fan turning or if these fans are just cheapo? Flickering light gives me an eye and headache but I would like to be able to have a real solid light. For example the wraith prism cooler that came with the 2700x has a very nice smooth transitioning no flicker LED on its fan.

My other question is about what the best setup is for case fans. The case has a 6 speed fan control on it but I'm unsure if it would be better to plug them directly into the motherboard OR plug a couple into the Sapphire Vega 64 GPU which has some built in fan control based on case temps? If there are better SOLID LED fans out there I can just replace the front two fans and perhaps add a third.

Thanks

The flicker is more then likely due to cheaper fans, while I have limited experience with RGB fans LED fans should be similar and consistent. Your case setup as far as fans seems good, having two intake and two exhaust, even at different sizes should still keep everything pretty cool. If anything I would maybe consider replacing them with better quality fans and you want to keep all case fans on the speed fan control and then the main control onto the motherboard.

I'm not sure what you mean by "keep case fans on the speed fan control and then the main control onto the motherboard". What exactly does that mean? The way I have it now all four fans are connected to the "case fan control" that is a button on the top front of the case and to the PSU. At the moment they aren't connected to the motherboard at all. Unless I'm missing something I don't see a way for them to be connected to both the motherboard and the 6speed fan control of the case. Are you saying that there is a way to have both the case and the motherboard control fan speed? Or should I bypass the case control in favor of mobo control?

My mistake, I was thinking of a fan hub where the way it's setup is that all the case fans go to the hub and then the hub connects to a fan header on the motherboard. The way you have it setup now though should allow you to adjust the speeds of the case fans so I'd probably keep it as is then.

What color fans would you want to replace your current ones with?

Yeah the only issue with this setup I'm worried about is that my tower is not accessible from the chair I sit in and I would hate to either leave them on full blast all the time or forget to turn them up. I'm wondering if the motherboard has the capability to decide when the fans should be fast based on temperature and not me manually setting it. So that I don't have to worry about forgetting to turn it up or down.

I've got the Asus Prime x470 Pro. I'm new to UEFI BIOS and new to manually doing anything more than just upping the fan speed a bit on my old GPU when it stopped being able to self regulate well. I need to do more research on all the features of my board!
