I could very well have something setup wrong. My setup is as follows,
Google Fiber network box -> Nighthawk Router set to AP -> gigabit switch -> Xbox and PC.
Before adding the switch if my Xbox was hard wired directly to the router my nat type was open. Now adding the switch it is strict and I can’t seem to figure out why. I have forwarded all the ports necessary for the Xbox and it is still strict. Like I said I don’t know if I have something setup wrong or what the problem is
