Asus PRIME Z270-P always POSTs in safe mode after shutdown.

I have an ASUS Z270-P motherboard that POSTs to safe mode once each time the PC is booted up after power-off, whether it's a manual shutdown or a power outage. It puts me into the BIOS where I "F10" save and reboot.. and then windows will start on the second attempt. This happens EVERY time.

A manual reboot or an after-update reboot from windows does not cause it to post in safe mode.

I don't know when the problem started, but it didn't happen when the PC was new and I didn't tinker too much in the BIOS since then. I did install AI SUITE 3 however.

Does anyone know of a solution to this strange behavior? Thank you!

The Bios is not safe mode. Safe mode is a special startup of the OS, used for troubleshooting, with only essential services and programs running on launch.

You may have an issue with the bios's settings or retaining settings and needing you to verify them.
