my cpu is a ryzen 5 1600 overclocked to 4.0ghz 1.380 volts, motherboard is a asrock fatal1ty ab350 gaming k4, and the ram is XPG SPECTRIX D40 DDR4 RGB 3000mhz, 4x8gb sticks 32gb total ram. my system only lets me go to 2666mhz on the ram. my question is what could I change the timings to so I can make it work. please explain in full thanks. oh ya when I try to set the xmp to 3000mhz I get a blue screen every once in a while. if I leave it on 2666mhz I never get a blue screen. ok also here are the current ram timings. 16-16-16-39 cr1 trc 55 trfc 467

Current ram timings. 16-16-16-39 don't mean too much if you don't list the memory part number.

Ryzen 2000 Series featured higher memory speeds with the improved Integrated Memory Controller (IMC) over older models such as Ryzen 5 1600.

Make sure you update the BIOS, if you did not have the newer version. Then may try to set the RAM speed to 2933mhz, try 16-16-16-36-75-1, If that does not work out, and read the review https://www.overclock3d.net/reviews/cpu_mainboard/amd_ryzen_memory_optimisation_-_the_effect_of_trc_timings/4, because ryzen like the tighter timing.

thanks, also what should I set the voltage to? or should I leave that alone?

Maybe, because you used the the 1600 +B350 motherboard. We know AM4+ had the problem with the RAM before, like http://www.legitreviews.com/ddr4-memory-scaling-amd-am4-platform-best-memory-kit-amd-ryzen-cpus_192259 but they update the bios with AGESA 1.0.0.4a micro code, etc. Yes, with each update AMD Ryzen does get better.

Also like other review you can see AMD may still have problem with RAM ( I maybe wrong ), here is the review: https://us.hardware.info/reviews/8085/11/28-ddr4-memory-kits-comparison-test-the-best-memory-for-coffee-lake-and-ryzen-compatibility-with-amd-ryzen

Keep in mind, if you used 4 sticks of RAM, they will always put more pressure on the IMC, that may cause the problem. If you can't use 32GB at 2933mhz, nothing you can do, either use 2x8GB on 2933mhz, or lower speed with 32GB, or sell these RAM, buy the 2X16 GB kit.

well ill have to decide on those options, right now its running at 2666mhz stable with the 32gb, I might do one of the other two options to get higher speeds.

can you tell me where to set each number in the bios?
