I'm just wondering after assembling my H100i which way the fans should be facing. This is my first build. Should the two fans be blowing towards the parts in the case or towards the top of the case?

Also on a major note, my fan says it supports AM2 and AM3 sockets, but my MoBo is an AM4 socket. Will it still work or?

Solution

You can do either. It may come down to convenience of mounting or routing of the cooling hoses. Using ambient air with the fans pulling air into the case will give you the lowest CPU temps, but will provide warmer air to the GPU. Having the fans as exhaust will give cooler air for the GPU but not be as efficient on CPU cooling.
