Why the gtx 1050 3gb with a low bandwidth need a recuirement pcie 3.0????

PCIE 3.0 isn't required. It will work on 2.0, it just supports 3.0 if you have it.

It doesnt, will work on PCI-E 2.0 but operate at x8, not x16. Or half the slots intended rate....

No, it will still use the 16 lanes but at half the bandwidth. gen 1 has 250MB/s, gen 2 has 500MB/s, gen 3 has 984.6MB/s bandwidth per lane.

gen 1 x16 has the same bandwidth of a gen 2 x8 or a gen 3 x4, or a max of gen 1 4GB/s, gen 2 8GB/s, gen 3 15.8GB/s for all 16 lanes

So its not problem if i use gtx 1050 3 gb in pcie 2.0?? The bandwidth of gtx 1050 3 gb will not be decreased??? I am make sure that it will be ok, thanks all.

I dont understand that mean pcie 2.0x16 max bandwidth is 500x16x2 = 16gb/s but i saw the bandwidth of gtx 1050 3 gb is 84 gb/s at the website. Anyone can explain all mybquestion pleaseee

The slot bandwidth is the amount of data that can transfer from the CPU to the GPU. The other number is the internal to the card bandwidth number. From it's GPU to it's memory. They are 100% different. That's how a GPU with GDDR5 can work in a board that's running DDR3. The bandwidth number is different because they are coming/going to different areas.

The 1050 is a fairly low end card. You shouldn't have issues pairing it with an older system.

I have heard reports of people trying to use modern cards in older system and having issues. Make sure you update the bios before upgrading the card. This was an issue trying to use 2.0 cards in 1.0 systems. I haven't heard of issues with 3.0 cards in 2.0 system, though it could still happen.
