Hi,
I currently have a 3770k cpu/g1 sniper motherboard 16gb ddr3 3000 ram with an Asus 1060 3gb gpu.
Have a budget of around 800usd to upgrade. Trying to decide between an amd2700x with crosshair vii mobo with 16gb 3200 ram, or keeping same cpu and going to a gtx 1080ti gpu. PC is general use with main games being Diablo 3, BF1, and overwatch. Simulator on benchmarking sites lean towards the gpu being a bigger perfomance upgrade, but with the aging cpu I'm having trouble deciding the better option.
