Hello guy's .

I just got a new hp g6 250 having the 7th gen i5 which makes the laptop one year old so lets get to it.
I got this laptop from school because we will not use books anymore and its locked with an admin account and a domain account plus the bios locked my first step was getting around the bios lock so i can change the boot menu and everything else and got it to work on an external hdd because i dont wanna miss up any of the school files and its a pain to open the laptop to see the components i did it one time and i discovered that the laptop came with no cd drive and the odd cable is removed but you know that they wont change the motherboard for it so i think its called sata on the laptop but heres a photo.
http://prntscr.com/l7tnl9

1.theres no hdd in the laptop only M.2 ssd.
2.No optical drive with the area is highlighted by grey is covered with blank plastic structure on the other keyboard/monitor side of the laptop so you dont damage the plastic if you press on it.
3.the port (odd i think its named) which i think is used for the optical drive is there.

now my question is what do i need to put and ssd or hdd in that area? can i have dual windows 10 that are completely seperate? the speed of the hdd or ssd will be effected ?.

heres the parts that i think i will need to do the job
http://prntscr.com/l7trpz : im not sure why its so expensive 20/30$ and i dont know whats its called.

http://prntscr.com/l7tt5d : i i will use it so the plastic underneath doesnt stay empty and the hdd or ssd doesnt move alot

No, I don't know what adapter you can use in your laptop outside of just replacing your drive with a larger one.
The picture you posted is a bit odd, if you have an M.2 drive it would not be where the drive is in the image you posted, if it is in that area need to see the exact connections you have there and where the possible optical drive is. Post the picture of your laptop not some other one that is almost like yours.

What exactly are you trying to do, add a second drive to it? That cable in the picture may be the right thing but that enclosure is not. If you look at the enclosure it has the same SATA connections as the cable, so how are you going to connect the cable through that? Also that enclosure looks to be not for your model, probably for a Lenovo.
