8 gb RAM installed only 2.89 usable

installed in my device is 8 gb of RAM and only 2.89 usable...i am using windows 7 home premium 32 bit...can I utilized the rest unused RAM? How?

On 32 bit operating systems 4 GBs is the RAM limit.
You need to install the 64 bit variant to be able to use all of your available memory.

just to add, you will not be able to do an upgrade from the 32-bit version to 64-bit. you will have to perform a clean install of windows which means you will have to have your product key and backup backup any important files.

if you do have your windows 7 key you can always use it to upgrade to windows 10 as well
