Needing help getting the most out my pc

So I play lots of games and so i play with all my friends and they all seem to be having way better performance and fps on their computers when they have lower specs than me. I dont know what is going on with my pc.
Specs:
I7 6700k
GTX 1080 TI
8 gb RAM
120 SSD and 1 TB harddrive
Windows 10

Your hard drive could be the culprit in this issue. I don't think the RAM is the issue, even though it is unusual to see 8GB of RAM with specs like this. It is usual to see 16GB with specs like this, but I do not think it is the issue. Try running a full system spec test on UserBenchmark to see what your specs are performing like compared to others.

cpu/gpu temp and usage during the game?
ram/ssd/hdd usage?
make and model of the PSU?

@General cool I will do that benchmark and get back to you and @rgd1101 i will test my stuff on BO4 maybe and my PSU is a corsair RM750

You definitely want to have 16gb or ram for best performance gaming on modern games.

It says my stuff is okay in my cpu and gpu but my ram and usb says something else
