Hello. I'll give the G4560 to my brother. Time to buy a new CPU.
My PC:
G4560
Sapphire RX 570 Nitro+
Crucial Ballistix 8gb 2666mh
Samsung F390 1920x1080 with FreeSync
In my country, prices are high and you don't have a lot of options to buy (not without paying a lot). My first choice was an i5 7400, until I saw the price $234. So this are my options so far:
Ryzen:
Gigabyte AB350M DS3H $84
Ryzen 3 1300x $95
Total: $180
Ryzen 5 1600 $171
Total: $255
Ryzen 5 2600 $226
Total: $310
Coffee Lake:
MSI B360M Gaming Plus $86 (it has 50% off right now) a H310 cost $75
I3 8100 $150
Total: $237
I5 8400 $236
Total: $322
I'm a web designer, so I work on my PC all day long. Also I play games, but I'm not a hardcore gamer: mostly RPGs (like the Witcher saga) and online games like Overwatch. For anything else, I have a PS4.
I have no complains with this G4560. Only when I have a lot of open tabs and other programs at the same time. And even then, it's not a big deal.
I know Rzyen has a better upgrade path. So... If I go with the 1300x, will I see and improvement over the G4560? Does the 1600 or 2600 worth the extra cash for my needs? Should I go with Intel again? I have never OCed, but I'll do it only if I need to.
Thanks
