Gtx 1070 founders editon or Asus ROG 1070 OC edition? same price

hello guys,

Ive got this 2 options to upgrade from my MSI gtx 980, Gtx 1070 founders editon or Asus ROG 1070 OC edition, same price, will i notice a big difference beetwen these two gpus? which one to stick with? i have a really good airflow on my case.

The ROG OC version has much better cooling (which can result in better general performance and longevity) and it is a bit overclocked (faster) comparing to the founders edition.

It's quite silent and cooled by the cooler/sink at idle.

For the same price I'd go with the Asus ROG OC version.

What is your system spec. and what PSU brand/model do you have?

850TX 850watt PSU Corsair, i5 6500, 16gbram ddr4 2400 crucial, Maximus hero viii.

definitely go with the strix version, it will be so much better, perhaps the only downside is that it will be slightly louder, but you shouldnt be able to tell the difference its so small.
