Hey guys, Do I just went in on a deal for the Ryzen 2700x. I got it to replace my 4690k. AMD finally has something to offer. But i've just noticed that x370 memory support was for a period of time a bit wonky.

Does anyone know if my "Vengeance (2x8 GB) 3000 MHz C15 XMP 2.0" will be okay with my board and cpu? I wanted 3000Mhz to insure i won't be missing out on some performance. As seen in some benchmarks.

On the page it says it supports 3000Mhz but followed by "(OC)"... Soooo no XMP/Official support?

Thanks!

Gottya bud.I heard about the issue where people are getting their mobo with older BIOSes which don't support Ryzen 2. Chances of me running into the problem with a new stock of mobo from Amazon? (By that i mean the board was out of sock and is getting restocked soon)

Most manufacturer's have updated the BIOS at least enough to support the newer CPU's but if you haven't purchased it yet I'd look at a B450 motherboard. It will support that 2700X and would surely have better memory support. Although I would still update the BIOS on a B450 board just to ensure the best performance from the system.
