@nishant.sarma94:
why would you recommend someone looking for a desktop cpu/motherboard, a laptop i5 8250u cpu ?

@ryangray175.rg:
What is your budget is more to the point than your question, also where in the world are you located is also a factor in this equation, lastly my opinion on streaming and gaming at same time, is get the I7 instead of i5.

Assuming the usa, and I recognize its likely not your country of origin. ad secondly assuming 500$ is your budget then I suggest the following choices, (K cpus can be overclocked but require an additional cooler as they do not come with one)

If you are not on a budget. I would recommend you to get the 8th gen intel core i5 8250u. It also has integrated GPU UHD620 which can run modern titles with decent fps. I am using the same and if paired with a good GPU can turn it into a beast. It has a base clock of 1.80 Ghz and a boost clock of 3.4 Ghz and 6 mb of smart cache. You can get the CPU within the price of $300. You can use a ASUS A68HM-K motherboard to pair it up with. I am using this combo and would recommend it to everyone.

Options 1:

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant
CPU: Intel - Core i5-8600K 3.6GHz 6-Core Processor ($259.99 @ Amazon)
CPU Cooler: Corsair - H100i v2 70.7 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler ($89.99 @ Amazon)
Motherboard: MSI - Z370-A PRO ATX LGA1151 Motherboard ($103.95 @ Amazon)
Total: $453.93

Option 2: (if you have no intentions of overclocking then put the money into a better cpu, get the i7 instead of the i5):

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant
CPU: Intel - Core i7-8700 3.2GHz 6-Core Processor ($325.89 @ B&H)
Motherboard: ASRock - B360M Pro4 Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard ($77.99 @ Amazon)
Total: $403.88

Options 3 is a non OC i5 cpu and motherboard, answers your question and no frills

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant
CPU: Intel - Core i5-8600 3.1GHz 6-Core Processor ($250.98 @ Newegg)
Motherboard: Asus - TUF B360M-PLUS GAMING Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard ($83.58 @ Newegg)
Total: $334.56

lastly you might not of considered a Ryzen cpu/motherboard so I toss that in the fray for balance.

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant
CPU: AMD - Ryzen 7 2700X 3.7GHz 8-Core Processor ($304.89 @ OutletPC)
Motherboard: MSI - X470 GAMING PLUS ATX AM4 Motherboard ($116.98 @ Amazon)
Total: $421.87

This is so wrong on many levels. An Intel CPU will absolutely not work on an AMD FM2+ motherboard so there is no way you are using any Intel CPU on that board especially a mobile cpu that is only available as a BGA(soldered) socket.

Basically everything you said was wrong. That's a laptop cpu. Not really capable of streaming. Intel hd 620 can run indie games sure but nothing demanding at any respectable framerate (much better than it used to be tho). The 8250U's base clock is 1.6ghz. It can not run on a fm2+ board ever and no idea where you got those prices from.
