650 watt psu is good for rx580 or not

Hi Guyz
I have got a problem in my pc i have 650 watt psu in my z600 i have 2 processors x5660 16Gb ecc ddr3 ram and 2 hard drives so i wana buy a new amd rx580 8gb and its recommendations are 500 watt psu so should i buy it or not? Will i be playing all games on ultra settings without getting my hardware damaged.........

What psu? The main issue here is the old cpu's. A lot of new games that are cpu heavy will struggle to keep above 60 fps. This is often easily fixed on these LGA1366 by overclocking but your hp does not support that. Another thing to consider is that an RX 580 isn't an ultra settings 1080p 60fps card on all games but will do most.

As other have mentioned it depends on the quality of your PSU. That being said I run a corsair 650 bronze combined with a rx580 xtr 8 g and have ZERO issue running most games on ultra. No damage. No harm. Just 100+ fps and loads of fun.
