Since you did not list any info at all about your system or the exact issue, no way to know how you can fix it. List full system specs, and exactly what happens when you try to run the game.
There are some resources out there if you do a web search but I am not linking anything here since I can't vouch for how safe the sites are, most of the patches look OK but a lot of user mods and fixes can easily be viruses.
