Hi everyone.

Does setting a laptop's power mode to "Best performance" (as opposed to "Best battery life") decrease download/upload speeds?

For instance, in Windows 10, if if I click on the battery icon in the lower right-hand corner of the screen and then set my laptop's power mode to "Best battery life", will it download/upload files more slowly than if I set my laptop's power mode set to "Best performance"?

Thank you.

No. It has no impact on your LAN speed.

Agree with everyone.

Download speed is mostly on the speed you paid for, and majorly impacted by others who are sharing the ISP with you in the same household.

PERFORMANCE mode, all it does is, delay throttling until it can no more otherwise ur box will melt due to excessive heat. Performance, sounds good right, but nope.
