Power supple: EVGA g2 850w

Issues
I've had some noticeable coil whine on the 3 GPUs that have been connected to this PSU

Main issue which has caused me to post this is that, my astro a40s have an annoying hum, when they are getting powered by my PC or ANYTHING getting supplied USB power from my PSU like my monitors.

Today I decided to plug the USB into my PS4 while having the optical cable plugged into my PC and there was zero humming what so ever ...even when my mix amp was at max volume. I also tested having the Astros being supplied power from it's own USB to plug adapter and yet again ZERO humming what so ever.

Is my PSU supplying my PC poorly?

Solution
I'm presuming the coil whine is on the PSU when the GPU is at load. At least that's what I think you're saying.

Does it affect performance? It could be the bearings are going on the PSU. Maybe think about returning it if under warranty. If it doesn't effect performance, then you may get some time from it yet, but if you start getting random shutdowns of performance issues, then think about replacing it.

The PSU seems pretty quiet it's only the graphic cards (780ti, 980 and now 1080ti). The whine only happens when the gpus are under load but the humming in my astros happens 24/7 while being powered by my PC.

I always though it was my old z77 asrock but since getting my z390 asrock the issue hasn't gone away.
