There are conflicting opinions about the possibility of installing the MBR partition on disks with a capacity greater than 2TB. Most authors claim that this is impossible without losing a part of the capacity of the medium. Others believe that you can exceed this barrier under certain conditions, but there is a risk of data loss due to software that does not include non-standard solutions. I divided the 4TB drive into 4 primary partitions, the last of which has a beginning below the 2TB limit. The operating system correctly recognizes this partition, saves and reads the data. Do I have anything to fear?
