[SOLVED] Need a very comfortable headset/headphones

Now I realise that this is an annoying and frequently asked question, but hear me out:

I am at a loss. All I want is a comfortable headset (better option) or headphones (fine, too, I have an external mic) I can use for many hours without my ears feeling like they may just break apart.

In my life I have had exactly one pair of each that I could use without pain (obviously both very aged and not working anymore) and it's very frustrating. Friends and family would buy me new, great, stylish headsets and I would say thank you and be happy, only to have to go through the same

again and again because they are all the same when it comes to what matters:

The speakers. They have no cushion, in ANY headset I have tried, and a part of my ear called the anti-helix (the big gristle-thingy at the edge of your ear) presses against the hard plastic that's covered by nothing but a very thin fabric to prevent direct contact. Over time, that is extremely painful and I have to rearrange the pads into really weird positions so the speakers don't touch my ear enough for it to become painful.

Has anyone ever had this problem? Because I have been googling for hours and not for the first time, yet I can't find anything about it. I don't know if my ears are kinda weird or I'm just hyper sensitive here, but nobody I know gets what I'm talking about and I could really use a pair of headphones or a headset that I can actually wear for multiple hours.

Headphones generally used for music seem to have sort of a gap between speakers and the actual cushion, leaving more room for your ear and I think that could prevent this, but I am not sure if there are models suitable for gaming that aren't built like a normal headset - which wouldn't be of any use to me.

Solution
I would personally recommend headsets from HyperX or SteelSeries if you're looking for gaming performance. Otherwise, Bose usually provides very comfortable headsets, which were design for prolonged use.

You can have a look on the Razer headsets mostly
Like: The Kraken, Man O' War or the Thresher
Other than that you can have a look at the Cougar Phontum which is a budget gaming headset

What I think you need is a headset with a huge cushion which would help you play for hours without any contact with you ears which you mentioned. If you still find problem then it's better to go with a razer headset with a huge ear pads if in need you can buy their cooling gel ear pads later.
