RX Vega 64 Help!

Hello everyone!

I had a quick question as far as these GPUs go. I currently have a 1050ti but have recently picked up a freesync 144hz monitor and would like to upgrade and move to AMD card to take advantage of this. I though about the RX 580 but I'd like the higher end Vega card instead.

I wanted to know if there was any major differences between the cards, the cheapest one is the gigabyte model for $480

The Asus version has a much better cooling system. On the other hand the Gigabyte card has a pretty basic cooler that may cause stability issues in some PC cases that have limited airflow. In fact there have been a lot of reports online about this issue and Gigabyte has released a new BIOS version that reduces the GPU clocks a little bit. So you are paying more for the Asus card because of the better cooler which also makes the card achieve higher clocks which means that it performs a little bit better. However I think that the price difference is huge and the Gigabyte card is the better buy, provided that you have a good PC case with good airflow. Otherwise if you can wait for 2-3 months until AMD releases its new GPUs, you'll probably...
