EDIT: I found my motherboard has a WLAN card and there were two little cables running from the old case that plugged into it, im guessing removing these cables has resulted in loss of connection.

I used my old alienware x51 parts and got a new case, psu and graphics card. I put the motherboard, cpu, ram and hard drive from the x51 into the build. It booted up just fine, however it cannot detect any wifi networks, i checked device manager and there are no yellow triangles near the network adapters section, not sure where to go from here?

If you have an extra pci slot on your motherboard, you could get a WiFi card. Buying the antennas wouldn’t be hard either. Just find the type you need and the type of plug you need to fit.
