"USB device over current status detected"
I get this error since yesterday after I spotted a bent USB 3.0 port pin, it broke off after trying to bent it back, I removed the pin from the port after it broke off, but now I can't start my pc anymore because it keeps getting the error after I start it.

The motherboard is Asus ROG Strix X370-F

I also disconnected every USB devices and all my drives from the motherboard.

Sounds like there’s still a short circuit in there somewhere. If you have a loupe and a flashlight you can inspect the port more closely to see if anything remains in there. It’s possible you bent the power pin and it is touching ground. Which pin came out? Was it a data pin or power pin?

OK, so you stated that there's nothing else bent or broken in the port. So if you are correct about that then you're right in saying that waiting won't help. Thinking about it again, the error message points to a short (one conductor touching another of opposite polarity), not an open circuit (blown polyfuse). You either still have a short that you haven't found or it is a false indication of a short. When you pulled the broken pin, did it come out easily? Did you use needle nose pliers or a similar tool that could have disturbed the other pins in there and cause them to touch each other or ground? Ground is only a hair away from those pins, because the metal body of the connector is ground. How good of a look did you get in there? Another possibility is a pulled trace when the pin was extracted, like roots coming up out of the ground when you pull a weed. The trace could now be touching something that would cause a short. How do the connections at the mobo look?
