[SOLVED] Printer for transparency's

Hi all

My home HP all in one printer has finally given up the ghost and I am on the hunt for a new one.

I am looking for either an:
All in one, colour, that will do fairly decent prints [strike]on[/strike] from transparencys.

Or

A compact monochrome printer for good transparency prints.

If I'm buying a separate monochrome it will be dedicated to transparency so doesn't need to be too flash as the all in one will cover everything else.

Any advice in the printer minefield greatly appreciated.

Don't know of a specific model printer that is best for transparencies, but whatever you pick, make sure you get the correct sheets for the type. Don't use InkJet transparencies in a laser printer and vice versa. Laser printers heat up and can melt and warp the InkJet stuff, and the InkJet stuff is coated to use with the ink which will mess up the laser printer quality and maybe even the drum.

For reliability, the business models are generally better.
