I have two ddr2 800 2gb sticks that work fine when using just one, but if I put both to have 4gb, the bios sees them as 667.
it's a zotac g41MAT-A-C motherboard.
cpu z reports both sticks are pc6400 400mhz, but why does the dram frequency is 334,7?.
maybe the motherboard supports 800 only using one stick but not in "dual channel" mode?.

one is kingston and the other is in a big orange heatsink thing that says "zeppelin", but cpu z doesn't display any brand.

update: the kingston one says: kingston kth-xw4400c6/2G 1.8v bkmn16b 1564
the other says zeppelin 2g/800/2568 ulc5 1110 007ne1 zpxtb265343

The Kingston stuff is low-density, but the Zeppelin stuff is foreign to me. Are you in an Eastern European country? That Zotac motherboard isn't even listed on the Zotac.com site.
Check if the Zeppelin stick has 8 chips on both sides or not. I have a feeling you're running one stick low density and one stick high density on an unusual motherboard. Might have to find new RAM.

the zeppelin stick is inside a heatsink thing, but I think I can see chips on only one side.
I guess I'll have to get another kingston one.
this computer has been working fine since 2010 when I built it, it has been using the zeppelin stick all this time, it was a few days ago that I found the kingston stick for a cheap price in a second hand store.
about the motherboard, both cpu z and speccy say "g41 mat A C revision 2.x" but the box says "mat A E" and considering the features it's identical to "mat A E" from the zotac web site.
I'm not in asia, I'm in south america.
I'll try to get another kingston or "normal" stick then. now I know it should have chips on both sides.

Yeah, I know. Can't find anything on with that designation.
