Just to clear things out, I'm not a gamer. Recently, I purchased a gaming keyboard and I can feel the difference compared to the ordinary membrane keyboard when typing and I do type often. I still do have this ordinary mouse A4Tech Mouse which I use in my job but sometimes the clicks aren't registering when I intend to click on something so instead of getting another cheap mouse I am thinking of buying an entry-level gaming mouse to avoid buying mouse so often.
I do have my eyes on the Logitech G102.

Going for a gaming mouse would be a great choice. The clicks of gaming mice has long time life span and they mostly use omron switches. You will find a lot of differences in the performance. Other than the g102 you can also have a look on the Corsair harpoon rgb and the Cougar Revenger S. All 3 are a great choice just go for the one which will suit your grip style.

Gamers tend to use their mouse a LOT, so gaming mice tend to be a lot more ergonomic and comfortable for those long gaming sessions, and their construction tends to be more robust to stand up to the abuse. Both of tose reasons are enough to recommend a gaming mouse for general computer productivity use.

Just be sure to get a mouse that fits your hand!

I use a G100s mouse, even less fancy than the G102. I do some gaming but also use my computer for my job and other things. Great feel, simple build. Not a heavy mouse--weight is all about personal preference, but thought I'd mention it.
