i have pay for 1gig up/down and have a nighthawk r8000 and when wired to my nighthawk i get 300mbps-400 and wired to my modem i get 800mbps-900 help me fix my router plz!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Start by doing a factory reset on the Nighthawk. That will verify that you haven't changed a setting that impacting your performance. Things like QOS, connection logging, other options can cause slow downs. Do the reset then immediately test your wired performance.

Just did boss same speeds 350ish. i had the tech guy come out to say it wasn't their problem and charged me $80.
There could be 4 devices wired running and it would still be 300-400mbps and still the same speeds with only one device running. could it just be my router???? i did the factory reset, i have all cat-7 Ethernet cables, i get 800-900 connected with a 50ft cat7 to the modem but only 300-400 with a 5ft cat7 connected to the router???????????????
