Good day
Lets start with a short history first:
Old pc:

  • MOBO: ASUS P8Z77-V PRO Socket-1155
    RAM: Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1600MHz 8GB CL9
    CPU: Intel Core i5-3570K Processor
    SSD: Kingston HyperX 3K SSD 120GB 2.5"
OS: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium EN
    HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5"
GPU: XFX Radeon HD 7970 GHz 3GB GDDR5

New late 2017:

  • RAM: Corsair Vengeance Pro DDR3 2400MHz 16GB
    SSD: Samsung 850 EVO 500GB 2.5"
    OS: Windows 10
    HDD: Seagate Barracuda 3TB 3.5'
GPU: MSI Radeon RX Vega 64
PS: EVGA GQ 1000W Hybrid Modular 80+ PSU

New late 2018:

  • MOBO: ASUS ROG STRIX X470-F GAMING, Socket-AM4
    RAM: HyperX Fury DDR4 2933MHz 16GB
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 2700 Prosessor

And after these latest upgrades, i have had difficulties playing games.
At first i thought it was the drivers and afterwards the CPU temp but i could`nt really figure it out.
- i have updated all drivers i can find, the OS and the BIOS.
- i use the stock cooler but i found that it is not causing the crashes.
- i have reinstalled windows and all the games

Main games that consistently crash is PUBG and COD:BO4.
(i know these are titles heavily affected by errors but after the upgrade crashes happens way more often)

Advice about fix or what may be causing the problem is greatly appreciated :) (pls help)

Are you using the same Win 10 installation from before, or have you done a clean install of Win with the new platform?
Have you run any malware scans to find if you have some poorly written code conflicting?
Have you run CCleaner and done the Clean and Registry portions both?

When you say clean install, do you mean to wipe the ssd completely and reinstall og is it enough to use the reinstall feature in windows?

Yes I have run both windows defender and malwarebytes several times.
Yes I have run cleaner but not the wipe feature.

(Thx for the fast respond)

Win 10 fresh install should have been good enough. But as CrazyDingo suggests, doing it from disk or flash drive may be the next step.
Even though it is new memory, it might be a good idea to check each stick individually for at least one full pass with Memtest.

If those are the only games that rash, maybe it is the games, maybe not. But why not run a stress test on the system (Prime95, Intel Burn Test, etc) to see if anything fails.
Has the HDD (and SSD) been pretty stable so far? Sometimes a drive can crash a system. Might run a drive stress test on the HDD if it holds the games.

Hi again. Thank you for all your suggestions, I feel like I’m getting there slowly.

Now i have:
-a fresh clean install of windows
-updated all drivers
-run malwarebytes and offline windows defender
-reinstalled the games
-run ccleaner
-the ram, cpu and mobo came in the same upgradepackage so there shouldn’t be any compatability problems
-both sticks have been tested with memtest, no errors
-yes, the ssd and Hdd seem stable
-I tried the prime 95 but was worried about temps and didn’t really understand the program. I have ordered a proper cooler and will try again then.
-NOT tried to stress test the drives yet.

I’ve had some bluescreens while working on these issues.
I don’t know if the stop codes help but here are two of them:
-ATTEMPTED_EXECUTE_OF_NOEXECUTE_MEMORY
-DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
(Wdf01000.sys failed)

Those appear to indicate a driver issue. Look those errors up online and see if any of the answers help you any.
