So I have build my own computer a while back and set up windows and stuff and it worked really well. But since nearly two months my WiFi signal is either really really slow (like 10 Kbps) or it just doesn't work. I would really appreciate it if someone could help me.

I have Windows 10 installed on my machine and I am using a TL-WN725N.

there are 3 versions of the hardware for this network adapter. See if you can figure out which version you have and try to install the update: https://www.tp-link.com/us/download/TL-WN725N_V2.html

if you can find out the version you have, you might be able ot download a better driver.
also, depending on the age of your machine, you might need to change the adapter setting so it does not sleep.
(some older machines, do not wake up the adapter correctly and the adaper stays in low power mode and will transmit a low power signal will transmit at a low bit rate) you can move the machine to about 3 feet from the router to see if it runs at a faster rate.

if you live in a area that has a large number of routers, they can interfere with each other. each router on the same channel can drop your transmission rate by 30 %. you can download a windows app called wifi analyzer by matt hafner free windows app
it will show the channels and the routers on those channels for both the 2.4 ghz and 5 ghz bands. very useful to find a channel where your router can work with less conflict with other routers.
