The preinstalled io shield is causing the the case standoff to not align with mobo

From your pictures (last one), it looks like the standoff is cross threaded and not standing up straight. The board seems to line up nicely with the IO shield. You got a picture of just the standoff?

Stumbled on the same issue yesterday.
I also have the ROG MAXIMUS XI HERO with CORSAIR CRYSTAL 570X.
I had the same problem. The bottom and middle standoffs were alligned, however you could tell that is was not alligned properly like it should, but it was still possible to screw them with some pressure.
But the top ones were just impossible to screw in because they did not allign at all.
I managed to screw all the 8 screws and the middle standoff without any problems.

My solution:
Take a pair of pliers and fold the io shield to the outside, as shown on this picture(https://imgur.com/a/xR4Dcu2). Not too much 2mm should be enough. And that's it. One disadvantage is that you will see scratches on the back of your io shield. But that's worth it for me!
