Hello community!
If I change my power plan settings to High performance could I reduce my CPU life?
Is it really safe?
Will it improve framerate and frametime?

My CPU is a i5 7500

It depends on how you use your computer. If you leave it on all day it will use more electricity and it might lower the life of the CPU by a year or 2 (you will probably upgrade way before it dies). If you live in a hot climate, you will run the AC more ... if you live in a cold area, you will run the heat less.

Will it improve gaming ... I doubt you would notice.

It won't hurt anything but you may not see much of an improvement gaming wise over the balanced setting as both your CPU & GPU will boost performance when needed. That being said I keep all of my desktops on high performance for any gain, even if it's minimal.
