I have my r7 clocked at 4ghz 1.43125 and it is on air with a cooler master hyper 212evo with 3 fans including exhaust fan right beside it. I know 70c wont break it but how much will it shorten its life span? also it scores 1715 and that seems bad for 4ghz..to me anyways

yeah true, for some reason i thought it was gonna run the same as the i5

To answer your question: yes, 70C will shorten it's life if experiencing that in continuous operation. I tend to think you're seeing that temp during stress tests and benchmarking, though. During normal use, even in highly threaded CPU intensive games, it shouldn't peak that high for a long enough duration to be a serious concern. It would probably be crash-happy if it did.

Even if it did see that temp in continuous operation you'll probably lose interest in the platform before it dies.
