This happened a while ago but I want a higher internet speed now. My computer randomly stopped using my ethernet cable. No new downloads or anything similar it just happened out of the blue. I thout my TP Link stopped working so I bought a long ethernet cable to go directly to my PC and still nothing. I then bought a TP Link usb to ethernet thing and it didnt work so I guess its not hardware. I finally bought a wireless TP link device and it connects but I want wired connection. I appreciate any help.

Well if your sure that's the ethernet/LAN network adapter that's listed in Device Manager and it has no errors against it, I don't know where the problem lies.
