Please Help , MSI GS65 Fan Issue

Hey Everyone

I was utilizing my MSI GS65 qnd suddenly the fan began making this noise

I believe it is originating from the CPU fan as shown in the image below.

There dosent seem to be a buildup of dust or debris. Does anyone have any ways that I could potentially fix this other than sending back to MSI because I am currently overseas and won't return for a month.

Fan making noise is usually the fan going bad unless you can actually see it hit things. Which means new fan.

i just started having a the same issue. really don't want to have to ship it into a service center either. Did you have any luck getting it working again on your own?

because the fan is loose on the shaft, the fan makes that weird sound. The fan wants to go up through the momentum of the wind and that's why he hits the fan-house so he can not go up any further. the fan is loose on the shaft.

if you are handy try to glue the fan on the shaft, but carefully; do not glue the fan completely ...

otherwise I would get a spare part from somewhere or send it under warranty. This is not a user error.

And by the way, that's your GPU fan.
