I tried searching for this problem online, but did not come up with an exact scenario that was similar. So putting my question here:
I have a laptop which had a German version of Windows installed on it. And as my work is now going to be in English. I removed my SSD, put in a PCI-E SSD and installed an English version of Windows on it. Then i plugged in my previous Windows SSD, and i could access the contents from the new English Windows. Problem is, when i changed the Boot option in BIOS, the previous German Windows SSD would not boot and the English SSD would boot. So i thought maybe search the net, and found a software tool EasyBCD to make a dual boot option on startup. Problem is, while it recognizes the two SSD's and gives me an dual boot option screen on startup, it still doesn't want to boot from the German Windows SSD. Can any one share some relevant and useful info how i can resolve this ? Thx in advance.
